About Me
Attention, motion, and machines.
I’m Sevcan Alkan, a photographer and software developer based in Sofia, Bulgaria. Photography is where I slow down, observe, and pay closer attention to the machines, people, and moments moving through a scene.
Much of my work is centered around aviation and motorsport, from plane spotting around Sofia to track days at A1 Motor Park and events such as BIAS 2025. Beyond that, I photograph transport, landscapes, wildlife, architecture, and increasingly work with analog photography.
Whether I’m photographing an aircraft on approach, a car on track, or a quieter landscape, I’m interested in creating images that feel deliberate, atmospheric, and grounded in a sense of place.
